Start by changing the oil. In order to warm the oil, drive the engine for at least a couple of minutes. Shut off the engine, and take off the drain plug. If necessary turn the mower around in order to make sure the oil is empty. Install the drain plug, and fill the mower with oil until it’s visible through the hole in the oil Check the level on the dipstick If it’s fitted.
